On this edition, we take you for an epic and wild ride in the city and I mean the wildlife kinda wild, but you get it, right?
Let’s get right to it!
First, our travel essentials. Check, check and Check!
You can literally see the excitement on our faces. Now show us some lions (I can hear Katy Perry right now, Ro-o-o-o-ar)
and she shall be called Wambui
Now we’re talking.
Some birds over here (The Ugandan Cranes to be specific)
Some sneaky bachelor impalas over there
We even did some bird watching..I never understood it before, until now, well sort of. Seeing them in the wild was simply fascinating
I think I see something..
Finally! I need to say it here, 8 LIONS! (The eight is in CAPS!!)
This little fella tried his best to get away from us (he’s shy). The mud didn’t let up easy
We also got the chance to take a Safari Walk, see what I did there?
The Purple Lilly blooms when darkness falls but it seems this pretty number wanted to put on a show for us.
Met this beauty, Garissa
Her tongue kinda got me off guard, I wasn’t expecting to see a grey one!
We later checked out the Animal Orphanage. Animals here are actual orphans whose mothers died when they were young and are rescued to ensure their survival
Meet Bob, the pigmy hippo
This little guy below reminds me of George of the Jungle *inserts tune*
George, George, George of the jungle, Watch out for that eh, mesh?
An up close shot of the Ugandan Crane
Now watch us
